Mini Grant Application
• Concept:  To make small amounts of resources available to catalyze action in the Opportunity Works plan. 
• Process for requesting support:  Applicants would fill out a short grant application.  The request MUST be supported by an Opportunity Works Task Team or a Cedar Valley's Promise Task Team. 
• The Policy Council would review requests at regular meetings and make decisions. 
• Grantees must have a fiscal agent that has a 501(c)3 to hold the funds.
• Grantees must share evaluation information after one year.
• Maximum grant award: $1,000.00
• Criteria:
     - Action must part of the Opportunity Works plan or helps to meet specific objectives of Opportunity Works plan. 
     - Applicant needs to be involved in an Opportunity Works Task Team of a Cedar Valley's Promise Task Team
     - Collaborative and includes partners from multiple sectors (nonprofit, business, government, etc.)
     - Actions should be regional or at least be shared regionally.
